  • Commodity Supplemental Food Program: Provides healthy food at no cost each month to eligible individuals ages 60+ in Minnesota.
  • Hennepin County Senior Services: 612-348-4111 Support and resources for home care, alternative care, cost sharing, and other senior needs.    
  • Hopkins Senior Services: 952-939-8393 Hopkins specific resources, activities, and groups for seniors.
  • Household & Outside Maintenance for Elderly (HOME): 952-746-4046 Maintenance program designed to assist people of 60 years of age to stay in their home. Provides indoor and outdoor chore services.
  • Housing Support: Pays for rent, utilities, household supplies, and food for seniors and adults with disabilities who have low incomes.
  • Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis: 952-546-0616 Provides a variety of services for seniors and their caregivers of all faiths. These include dementia training, case management (Russian speaker available), holocaust survivor support services, memory café (gathering for people with memory loss and their caregivers), self-care for caregivers classes, and Kosher meals on wheels. Also offers personal escorts and transportation to shopping and medical appointments on a sliding fee scale.

  • Senior Community Technology Services: 952-8888-5530 Free and affordable individual technology assistance and skills clinics.  
  • Senior Linkage Line: 800-333-2433 Offers statewide information and assistance on housing repairs, household chores and other general information regarding senior assistance.
  • Trellis: 651-641-8612 Their Senior LinkAge Line service provides connection to resources, resource coordination to help residents stay in their homes, preadmission screening for people entering nursing facilities, and answer questions surrounding caregivers, financial supports, Medicare, and more.
