Garlic Mustard Removal Volunteer Event is June 1

Join the City of Hopkins for a volunteer event to remove garlic mustard and learn how to manage it on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, at select locations in Hopkins. Garlic mustard is an invasive species that outcompetes native plants and takes over forest floors, preventing other plant regeneration. This invasive species has become an increasingly large problem in the Midwest and management is key for the health of our city’s environment. Sign-up to volunteer for the event.
