Tree Sale Opens February 26In partnership with Tree Trust, Hopkins Public Works will be offering a limited number of trees at a discounted price of $40 each to residents beginning Monday, February 26. Residents are responsible for planting the trees, which must be planted on private property in Hopkins, not within the boulevard or public right-of-way. Trees will be available for pick-up on May 4 from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Hopkins Water Treatment Plant next to Elmo Park, 1498 7th Street N. This will be the only tree pick-up date. Summer Recreation Registration Begins March 5Summer recreation program registration begins on Tuesday, March 5, for general recreation, Thursday, March 7, for senior programs and Tuesday, March 19, for ice skating.
