The Hopkins Police Department is now accepting nominations for Cops N Kids Fishing coming up on Thursday, June 12. Cops N Kids Fishing is a mentoring program for fourth and fifth graders who are identified by community members as needing an additional opportunity for a positive role model experience.
Working in partnership with local school districts and teachers, as well as donations from residents and businesses, HPD is able to educate participants on the importance of respecting our natural resources and encourage them to enjoy the outdoor recreational opportunities, all while fostering positive relationships with the police.
