Home Energy Squad 

Residents can schedule a visit with the Home Energy Squad to review ways to improve your home’s efficiency and save money. Learn more on the Home Energy Squad website.

  • Residents who rent, condo owners and owners of newer houses (build in 2000 or after) can schedule an energy saver visit for $35.
  • Owners of hours built before 2000 can schedule an energy planner visit for $50.
  • Any resident can take advantage of a free virtual visit.

MinnPACE

The City of Hopkins is a proud participant of MinnPACE. PACE financing (Property Assessed Clean Energy) is making energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy investments more attainable to commercial building owners. MinnPACE is a fit for most industries including farms, commercial office buildings, nonprofit organizations (including places of worship), and multi-tenant buildings.  Common investments include solar panels, HVAC systems, lighting, motors, and more. Utility Rebates 

Residents and businesses can learn more about efficiency programs and rebates opportunities through Xcel Energy and CenterPoint Energy programs.
